Uniform Policy

Uniforms at Kongu Kalvi Nilayam Matric Higher Secondary School represent more than just dress code—they signify unity, discipline, equality, and school pride. We maintain a standardized and neat uniform code that reflects our values and identity.

General Guidelines

  • Students must wear prescribed uniforms on all working days without any modifications.
  • Uniforms must be clean, well-ironed, and properly worn with socks and shoes.
  • Identity cards are compulsory and must be worn visibly around the neck.

Boys’ Uniform

  • Shirt: Light-colored shirt with school logo
  • Pants: Navy blue or dark-colored trousers (depending on section)
  • Footwear: Black polished shoes with matching socks
  • Belt and ID card: As per school regulation

Girls’ Uniform

  • Dress: Checked pinafore or salwar-kameez pattern with school-colored dupatta
  • Hair: Neatly plaited with ribbons (if long) or clipped back (if short)
  • Footwear: Black formal shoes with socks
  • No fancy jewelry, nail polish, or cosmetics are allowed

Sports Uniform

  • On assigned days, students must wear the house color T-shirts and track pants for physical education periods and sports practice.
  • Sports shoes must be worn on PE days.

Uniform compliance is strictly monitored by class teachers and school prefects. A student dressed smartly and properly not only represents the school image but also cultivates self-respect and discipline.
